Quanti possiedono la certificazione Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)?

La certificazione Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) è l’ultimo gradino della “piramide” Cisco e, in quanto tale, anche il più difficile: meno del tre per cento di tutti i professionisti certificati Cisco è certificato CCIE. Per darvi una idea, in tutto al mondo ci sono (attualmente) 18.084 persone che possiedono una certificazione CCIE (140 in Italia).


Eccovi alcuni numeri aggiornati al 10 Ottobre 2008 (fonte Cisco):

• Total of Worlswide CCIEs: 18.084
• Total of Routing and Switching CCIEs: 16.019
• Total of Security CCIEs: 1.828
• Total of Service Provider CCIEs: 1.006
• Total of Storage Networking CCIEs: 139
• Total of Voice CCIEs: 822

Inoltre ci sono ben 1.776 persone con 2 o più certificazioni CCIE:
